Who we are
Hi, I’m Chastity Nichols, LPC, RPT, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who specializes in working with children, teens, and families. I am passionate about helping kids navigate big emotions, life transitions, and challenging experiences in ways that feel safe, supportive, and developmentally appropriate.
I believe children communicate best through play, creativity, and connection. Using play therapy alongside evidence-based approaches, I help children build emotional regulation skills, increase confidence, and develop healthier ways to express themselves. My work is trauma-informed and rooted in the understanding that behaviors often communicate unmet needs.
I have experience supporting children and families facing anxiety, trauma, foster care and adoption-related challenges, behavioral concerns, neurodivergence, and family stressors. I partner closely with caregivers, recognizing that lasting change happens when families are supported together. Caregivers are an essential part of the therapeutic process, and I strive to provide practical tools and guidance that extend beyond the therapy room.
My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where children feel seen, heard, and empowered—and where families feel supported, not judged. It is an honor to walk alongside families as they heal, grow, and build stronger connections.
